Maybe I'm Not Quite Done

Someone very wise told me not to stop writing. So I won't. I will point out though that there will be days when this won't be very entertaining. In that case I ask that you bear with me because we can't all me great.

So here's an update.

Classes have started and I'm trying my best to understand the complex ideas they stuff into my head. I ran into one of my friends in the coffee shop today. We talked about the classes we were taking and she looked at me as though I was crazy after telling her my classes. She then explained to me that I'm not suppose to be taking Accounting 251 and Business Law together because those are some of the hardest classes. She's an education major and even she knows that. I think my advisor and I are going to have a nice little chat come registration time. It makes sense that I feel I always have something to do.

I really can't understand my Business Law class. I walk out of that class never knowing anything new, except that the answer to yesterday's problem was a different answer today. She tell us to find the "rule" in the text. We ask her if it's the same as a definition she says "yes" we write the definition and she tells us we are wrong. We ask her for help she says "find the rule" we start discussing among ourselves she says "there's no time for that write the rule" we ask for help she says "write the rule." I think it's clear by now we don't understand what she wants.

Oh school how you drain me. I don't remember that last time I was this busy....

There is a guy that sits next to me in my Business Law class. He always talks to me about stuff I don't care about. He complains about our Accounting class and then about Business Law and then he tells me he is going to get drunk this weekend and egg people's houses whoever calls the cops. Then he goes back to complaining about Accounting. Finally, he gets tired and falls asleep.

My friend Ryee is what keeps my going through Accounting. He mimics the teacher and laughs at himself. The other day he snuck into the class before us, sat in the back with his hood on his head, got the answers for our homework and then gave them to me. That's why I keep him as my friend.

Well it's been another productive day. Looking forward to it tomorrow....?

Something More Intellectual

I went back and read some of my older blogs and I've come to the conclusion that the newer blogs just got stupider. And then I decided that I should just delete it because blogs aren't cool anymore. I only did it because the roommates did it (peer pressure always wins). And now we aren't even roommates anymore...well Kayla and I are still, but we live in separate rooms now. It's just I have nothing interesting to write anymore. My life has gone from dull to duller in a matter of weeks. I study to much about numbers, laws, and the economy, and I'm sure that's not what people want to read about...well I'm sure some do, just not what I have to say about it because I'm just a college student. So what do I really know about life? Well here's what I've learned so far

1. Whenever I have my outfit planned for the next day the weather will always ruin my plans.

2. Don't smile to often, people will wonder what's wrong with you

3. You can't get through life without knowing about music, movies, famous people, or politics. It's all some people ever talk about

4. Saying what's on your mind is never a good thing. Think before you say talk

5. You should learn to be open minded about things, people like you better if you look at their point of view instead of trying to defend yours. Although it's not necessary a bad thing, just sometimes if you're always defending everything you're impossible to have a conversation with

6. Sometimes it's ok to wear black and brown together

7. The nutrition facts on the back of a food item are listed from most to least

8. Marilyn Manson is a guy despite his name

9. People like you more if you write a song for them

10. The more I search after God's heart, the more I see the change in my own heart

That's the top ten...sort of.

I love my apartment, and I love it here in Cheney. But I seem to feel stuck in this place. I don't know where I want to go in life or what I want to do. I feel like I have so many options yet hardly any at all. I just hope something works out...
