Dear Little One,
If I could rewind time and come back and talk to you I would. So little, so innocent, just wanting time to pass so you can hurry and grow up. Oh but if you only knew what I know now, I think you might enjoy the carefree life you currently have. The parents aren't really that bad, because it could be months before the next time you see them. Cleaning your room isn't that bad compared to cleaning a kitchen, bathroom, dining room, and living room. Doing a few chores around the house to make a little extra cash for new toys isn't that bad compared to a job 19 hours a week to pay for rent, bills, and school. So see little one? Don't try and grow up to fast. You have a whole life ahead of you. Go play while the time is still young. Don't wish for the time to hurry up, it'll come soon enough.

Oh Time How You Escape Me.
Wow...I know it's been a while. Things got a little crazy on me and I've neglected the things that I've considered not as important. So here's an update:
I've changed my major to communication studies.
Business law just didn't cut it for me. I just wasn't going to have another crazy professor like her. I have new professors that I like so much better. Although, I'm still kinda skeptical about one of them. He like to ask us why a lot. "Why do you think that is?" "Do you agree? Why?" And sometimes he just sits there staring at us until we answer. I do see what he's getting at, but sometimes I wonder if he just wants to argue with us. Someone gives him an answer and it seems like they are always on the defense. Sometimes it's a little too stressful because I don't know why I believe what I believe, it's just what I believe! But it's ok because anything is better than crunching numbers or learning about laws that don't really make sense.
And so now I am currently waiting as patiently as possible for the hint of spring to arrive. The heating bill has gotten to high, all my long sleeve shirts are dirty, and we have been running out of hot water from the many hot showers/baths us roomies have been constantly taking. I've decided there is nothing good about winter, except for that picture perfect scenery that is just outside my window. But the moment I step foot out of my door, the frosted trees and the snowy ground have lost their perfectness in my eyes and the cold air seems to taunt me. I just want my sunshine back. I'm tired of waking up to yet another cold frosty morning. Oh winter, how you trouble me so.

If She Hasn't Already Gone Crazy, She Did Today
Turns out I didn't do as bad on my Accounting test as I thought. Which made it a good morning...and then I had to go to Business Law, and that's where all the fun begins...
The guy that always talks to me (we'll call him "Joe" cause I don't know his actual name) was already in class waiting for it to start. We had 15 minutes before class and I knew that once I went in he was going to start talking to me. I almost considered turning around and go find a bathroom to waste some time. But he saw me and I knew there was no turning back. So I went in and sat down and waited for him to start talking to me. 5...4...3...2...1... "So what'd you think of that Accounting test?"Bingo! He had started. The next 10 minutes it was him talking about the test in accounting, the final in business law, the test in accounting, the final in business law, etc. I don't exactly remember much about our conversation...or should I say his conversation. In my head I was having my own conversation..."Oh please stop talking, you're not saying very intelligent things. Won't you please stop talking to me? Please...? Wait...did he stop talking?!?! No...he just had to take a breath...Oh Cody where are you?!" (Cody is the other guy I sit next to. I talk to him so the other guy won't talk to me. Sometimes "Joe" just joins in our conversation, and when I say join I really mean take over. Finally Cody arrived and we started talking about random stuff, until "Joe" jumped in and started talking about video games. I was actually grateful when my professor walked in looking all frazzled like usual. I was thankful for about 2 minutes and then SHE started talking... I just can't win...
So first she gave us a worksheet. The questions were all completely different, yet all the answers were the same. Huh. Figure that one out. Then she asked a question...
"What do managers do?"
"They manage stores" One student replied.
"No, what do they do?"
"They are in charge of the store" another student said
No, what do they do?"
By this time she's laughing, smiling, and shaking her head...at the same time. She was clearly getting a kick out of this.
"What do managers do?"
"They manage a store!"
"No, what do they do?"
"They run a store"
She shakes her head/laughs/smiles and runs in place
"No, what do they do. This is running, what else do they do besides running a store." (Remember the word BESIDES because it will be important to the rest of the story.) If she didn't look crazy already she definitely did in this scene. Finally, we caught on.
"They sell stuff??"
"Right, ok so they sell stuff" And then she wrote that on the board. "What else?"
"They hire people?"
"Right, so why do they hire people?"
"To sell stuff."
"Correct, so managers don't really sell stuff , they hire people to do it for them."
(Than why would she write that the sell stuff on the board and tell us we were correct if we were actually wrong?!?!?!?!?!?!?!) We continued to come up with list and in the end we had a list of what managers DO, which was everything they need to do to run a frickin store! So what she meant when she said BESIDES running the store I'll never know...
My group member and I all looked at each other, shook our heads and left. WTF was what we were all thinking.

2 Reasons Why I Just Might Be An Idiot
1) I told a boy that I couldn't go out with him on Sunday because I had to unclog my drains...
2) I didn't know you had to request an absentee ballot...and so I requested mine to late.
Yeah...I could probably think of more reasons but I try and forget all the stupid things I've done in my life. Those are the ones that keep gnawing at me.

Maybe I'm Not Quite Done
Someone very wise told me not to stop writing. So I won't. I will point out though that there will be days when this won't be very entertaining. In that case I ask that you bear with me because we can't all me great.
So here's an update.
Classes have started and I'm trying my best to understand the complex ideas they stuff into my head. I ran into one of my friends in the coffee shop today. We talked about the classes we were taking and she looked at me as though I was crazy after telling her my classes. She then explained to me that I'm not suppose to be taking Accounting 251 and Business Law together because those are some of the hardest classes. She's an education major and even she knows that. I think my advisor and I are going to have a nice little chat come registration time. It makes sense that I feel I always have something to do.
I really can't understand my Business Law class. I walk out of that class never knowing anything new, except that the answer to yesterday's problem was a different answer today. She tell us to find the "rule" in the text. We ask her if it's the same as a definition she says "yes" we write the definition and she tells us we are wrong. We ask her for help she says "find the rule" we start discussing among ourselves she says "there's no time for that write the rule" we ask for help she says "write the rule." I think it's clear by now we don't understand what she wants.
Oh school how you drain me. I don't remember that last time I was this busy....
There is a guy that sits next to me in my Business Law class. He always talks to me about stuff I don't care about. He complains about our Accounting class and then about Business Law and then he tells me he is going to get drunk this weekend and egg people's houses whoever calls the cops. Then he goes back to complaining about Accounting. Finally, he gets tired and falls asleep.
My friend Ryee is what keeps my going through Accounting. He mimics the teacher and laughs at himself. The other day he snuck into the class before us, sat in the back with his hood on his head, got the answers for our homework and then gave them to me. That's why I keep him as my friend.
Well it's been another productive day. Looking forward to it tomorrow....?

Something More Intellectual
I went back and read some of my older blogs and I've come to the conclusion that the newer blogs just got stupider. And then I decided that I should just delete it because blogs aren't cool anymore. I only did it because the roommates did it (peer pressure always wins). And now we aren't even roommates anymore...well Kayla and I are still, but we live in separate rooms now. It's just I have nothing interesting to write anymore. My life has gone from dull to duller in a matter of weeks. I study to much about numbers, laws, and the economy, and I'm sure that's not what people want to read about...well I'm sure some do, just not what I have to say about it because I'm just a college student. So what do I really know about life? Well here's what I've learned so far
1. Whenever I have my outfit planned for the next day the weather will always ruin my plans.
2. Don't smile to often, people will wonder what's wrong with you
3. You can't get through life without knowing about music, movies, famous people, or politics. It's all some people ever talk about
4. Saying what's on your mind is never a good thing. Think before you say talk
5. You should learn to be open minded about things, people like you better if you look at their point of view instead of trying to defend yours. Although it's not necessary a bad thing, just sometimes if you're always defending everything you're impossible to have a conversation with
6. Sometimes it's ok to wear black and brown together
7. The nutrition facts on the back of a food item are listed from most to least
8. Marilyn Manson is a guy despite his name
9. People like you more if you write a song for them
10. The more I search after God's heart, the more I see the change in my own heart
That's the top ten...sort of.
I love my apartment, and I love it here in Cheney. But I seem to feel stuck in this place. I don't know where I want to go in life or what I want to do. I feel like I have so many options yet hardly any at all. I just hope something works out...
